Directed by Suzanne Heywood

You’re working late. Your boss offers to take you to dinner on the way home. What do you do?

In part inspired by the #MeToo movement, the play explores the dynamics of power in the workplace. Instead of Hollywood moguls, the protagonists are people like you and I, yet the dynamics are not all that far removed from those of the casting couch.

"These are real questions, for our time, maybe for all times, but here presented in such slick, funny and concentrated form that we are held, entertained and made thoughtful."—Michael Brindley, Stage Whispers

This is the return season for Unsolicited Male following the hugely successful premiere in 2018.

During rehearsals for ‘Unsolicited Male’ Ron Elisha began writing it’s sequel, ‘E Male’ which was inspired by a pod cast entitled ‘Call Out’. Call out is the social media term used when an individual's behaviour is made public on social media platforms. The play explores the role played by social media in these events and the impact it has on the lives of the protagonists.
