DONATING FELIX

WRITTEN BY RON ELISHA

Director Suzanne Heywood

Q44 Theatre is proud to present the Australian premiere of Donating Felix.

Jane and Ross decide to donate their frozen embryo: Jane believes she is being altruistic and Ross just wants it sorted. Leah, the potential recipient, is desperate and her husband Brad will do anything to see her happy. On paper, it seems as if it should be a perfect match.  But this assessment leaves out one vital element:  Human nature.

In a play that ranges over the entire gamut of human emotion, behaviour and misbehaviour, Ron Elisha explores issues of ownership, parenthood, prejudice and privilege, with his characteristic humour and incisive perception of human foibles.
