January/July Retreat

JANUARY/JULY • 48 HOURS • $1,045

At GRC Actors Retreat, a small group of creative thought leaders come together for a long weekend of intensive training. The focus is creating, collaborating and finding new ways to connect with our community. Together we set a creative direction for the year and immediately apply it to the work.

The retreat offers a unique experience in actor training providing the opportunity for total immersion in the work which will encourage the actor to confront their habits, limitations and preconceptions about acting.

The work is structured around character behaviour with a focus on developing the inner monologue and emotional life of the character. Exercises are explored to facilitate relaxation, focus concentration and spark the imagination.

You will also enjoy nutritious and delicious food prepared by our amazing chef and the beautiful surrounds of our creative home away from home. By invitation only. Prior GRC studios training required.
