Acting Classes at Q44 Acting Studio
For actors who have an interest in our Performance Incubator Program or for those who have a curiosity about the foundations of Method Acting. Actors will be given a monologue from a short contemporary scene to prepare. The piece will be explored and evolved throughout the day.
Cost: $374 inc GST
This series of eight classes will explore the particular challenges and delights of working with classical text! Working with Vocal Specialist Suzanne Heywood, the classes will focus on text analysis and the relationship between actor choice and vocal choice.
Cost: $539 inc GST
A unique actor training program ran by the Artistic Director Gabriella Rose-Carter and Vocal Specialist Suzanne Heywood. Unlike traditional Scene Study classes it is designed to further enhance the actor’s experience by providing them the opportunity to perform in front of a public audience upon the end of a four-month term.
Cost: $423.50 inc GST per month
The retreat offers a unique experience in actor training. It takes place over a long weekend (36 hours) and provides the opportunity for total immersion in the work which will encourage the actor to confront their habits, limitations and preconceptions about acting.

These one hour private sessions give the actor an opportunity to work on material that cannot be covered in a scene study class.
